Team work of a French gentleman and 2 Jaisalmeris to create this extraordinary habitat that will delight you. Opened in November 2018, Hamari Haveli is a cosy old Haveli restored with the charm of ancient times for a spectacular result and has all modern facilities fitted for your comfort.
To provide an "at home" feeling was the intention behind this project. In the hospitality industry since many years, we do understand your expectations and made sure they will be met. You will be pampered all the way and the whole day for the length of your stay!
Nested the heart of the old city of Jaisalmer, on a peaceful square without traffic but with car park, you will live like a local with everything you might wish at your finger tips, Being it the fort, an historical site, or the bustling bazaar main street.
The choice is yours to book the full house and its 2 bedrooms, lobby, lounge, roof terrace, dining room and kitchen or just 1 room and still have most of the house at your disposal.
A onsite caring staff of 2 will attend all of your needs and wishes and serve you everyday breakfast of your choice, tea&coffee all day, thali dinner or else. Like in a 5 star hotel, rooms will be done, house cleaned and laundry, on request, taken care of.
Whether Luca, Pradeep or Bhanu will meet you and welcome you in their little gem of a place, share with you their love of Jaisalmer and show you the house sipping a delicious chai !
Hello,
My name is Luca Borella and I'm French but born in Geneva, Switzerland.
After studying Stage Designing at the Fine Art Academy of Rome, I travelled extensively around Asia for many years.
Then, in the fashion industry as a designer for almost 30 years, I came to India long back for its beautiful textiles. In my trips around India, one day I discovered Jaisalmer and immediately fell in love with its Fortress, history and the kindness of its people!
Since 1990, I kept coming back and one day opened a small guest house in the bastions of the fort that became today the Hotel Killa Bhawan, the best hotel in town!
Then, another place in the city, the KB Lodge and the Kb Café that serves the best vegetarian dishes in Jaisalmer, not to forget the best French fries of India !
Restoring and decorating old house is my new passion, so naturally, after being bored to stay in my hotel, I decided to find a house for me and for you, would you decide to come and stay at Hamari Haveli!
With Pradeep and Bhanu, we teamed up to open this little gem of a place, in the heart of the old city and we are ready to welcome you at any time!
Cheers

Hi,
My name is Pradeep Vyas. I was born in Jaisalmer Fort and belong to a very noble family; my grandfather was one of the freedom fighter in Jaisalmer at the time of independence.
I spend half of my life in a village in the desert that's why I consider myself a desert boy and I learned travelling in desert areas.
I started my career as a safari operator and for the last 20 year I am organising various desert trips & safaris in the Thar Desert.
I love showing the beauties of the desert to the people coming from all over the world and bring them to meet local tribes.
I started my 1st guest house in the fort, known as Desert Boy and then in the city I opened the 1st family restaurant, known as Desert Boy Dhani.
I enjoy the service & Tourism industry as I get to meet so many different people to whom I can show my part of the word.
And now I am so happy to offer you to stay at this beautifully restored Haveli, please come and enjoy it, we are ready to take good care of you.
Bye
